Experimental Plasma Physics: Negative ion plasma, linear ion acoustic waves, nonlinear
waves like KdV solitons, envelope solitons, rogue waves etc., modulational instability,
developing plasma diagnostics and plasma based technologies.
Theoretical Plasma Physics: Nonlinear time series analysis, study of electrostatic waves
and solitons, modulational instability in ionized medium, visible plasma tomography
simulation.
10 years experience of both experimental and theoritical research activities in plasma
related fields.
2 months experience of teaching Physics in B.Sc and M.Sc. classes.
1. 3rd best poster prize in 2nd National Symposium on Nonlinear and Complex
Phenomenon held at IASST, Guwahati during 26-28 March 2015.
2. Best poster award (Basic Plasma Section) in 30th National Symposium on Plasma
Science and Technology held at SINP, Kolkata during 1-4 December 2015.
3. CSIR-SRF Award in April 2018 from Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Govt.
of India, New Delhi.
4. Best Poster award in 12th International Conference on Plasma Science and
Applications (ICPSA-2019) held at Lucknow University, India during 11-14
November, 2019.
June 2020- June 2023: Post doctorate on “The tomographic diagnostic of Helicon
Experiment for Negative Hydrogen Ion (HELEN) device” at
Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
May 2014-September 2019: Ph.D. on “Studies on the characteristics of Peregrine
soliton in multicomponent plasma with negative ions” at Institute
