Guest House

A Guest house is located in the campus for University Guests, students and its staff members. The Guest House has total of nine (9) well furnished rooms {Eight (8) double rooms with common Bath   & one (1) quadruple bedded room with attach bath}. It has safe and clean surroundings and is managed by helpful staffs who attend to our guests at all hours.

Rules & Regulation

Booking

  1. Booking of room(s) can be made by filling the prescribed form and submitting it to the Incharge or the Caretaker in advance (preferably 3 days). The allotment of rooms shall be generally done on the “first come, first served” basis.
  2. The permission to stay in the guest House shall be subjected to availability of rooms and approval either by VC/Director/ Registrar/ Dy Registrar.
  3. Students requiring accommodation for their parents are required to get the requisition forwarded by Registrar or Deputy Registrar.
  4. Bookings by all staffs members will have to be routed through Registrar/ Dy. Registrar.
  5. Non-official bookings should not be for more than five days. Exceptions will be permitted only if recommended with reasons, by VC/ Dean / Registrar/ Dy. Registrar.
  6. Bookings can also be made through email or over telephone by contacting directly the co-ordinator/ Manager of the Guest House. Confirmation of the same is subjected to approval  by VC/Director/ Registrar/ Dy Registrar
  7. Booking /recommending authority will be responsible for the payment of all tariffs, bills, charges etc.
  8. In case of emergency, a single occupant of the room may be asked to share the accommodation with another guest. The Guest House management reserves the right to cancel a booking, refuse accommodation or change the room(s) allotted to a person or persons without assigning any reason(s) thereof. 

Who can avail?

The Guest House accommodation shall be available under the following categories:

  1. University Guest
  2. Resource person & Visiting Faculty
  3. New Joining Faculty
  4. Participants coming for different seminars and  workshops
  5. Research scholar
  6. Student’s Parents and relatives of staff
  7. Any other guests as approved by the Competent Authority

 

Rental

16.Room charges are levied on 24 hour basis.

  1. Room rent will be charge at Rs 200.00 per head on a twin/ quadruple sharing basis. Single occupancy will be charged Rs 350.00 per head.

For Private: Rs 300 per head (twin sharing basis)

 Rs 500 per head (single occupancy)

  1. Fooding will be charged extra on per meal basis

Breakfast:             Rs 25.00

Lunch/ Dinner:     Rs 60 .00 per meal (Non Veg)

Rs 35.00 per meal (Veg)

19.Please inform the care taker of the Guest house about your departure and settle your accounts well in advance.

  1. New Joining Faculty stay will be treated as University/Institute Guest in the Guest House till he moves to a permanent accommodation. However, food charges will be borne by the New Joining Faculty.
  2. Not more than two/four persons shall be allowed to stay in the double / quadruple bedded room as the case may be.

 

Services & Facilities

  1. News paper, wi-fi facility, Geyser facility in bath rooms etc
  2. 24 hrs running water
  3. 24 hrs power backup
  4. Doctors/ nurse on call

26.Tea/ breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in the dining hall of the Guest House/Canteen of the University.

Timing:  Breakfast: 7.30 AM -9.30 AM

Lunch: 12.30 PM- 2.00 PM

Dinner: 8.00 PM- 9.30 PM

 

General Rule & regulation

  1. The occupants shall have to maintain peace and tranquility in the Guest House complex.

28.Visitors of the Guest are not allowed to enter the room after 10 PM.

29.Photo ID card is to be shown before entering the guest house.

30.Students from the institute are not allowed to enter the rooms. However, a student can do so with prior permission through proper channel.

31.If any belongings/property  of guest house are found damage, the occupant is requested to report immediately to the caretaker or else fine will be charged as deemed fit.

32.Never leave cash, jewellery, mobile phone or any other valuables in the room. The guest house management  is not responsible for any loss, theft etc

33.Smoking, alcoholic drinks and other intoxicants in the guest house is strictly prohibited.

  1. Cooking in any form using gas, oven, heater and hot plate in not allowed inside the room
  2. For cleaning purpose room keys are to be left with the care taker of the guest house.

36.Please Switch off the lights/ TV/AC/ Geyser before leaving the room

37.Use dustbin for the wastage
