About B. Sc. Hematology and Biochemistry:
BSc in Biochemistry & Hematologydeals with the study of chemical processes in living organisms and also focuses on the physiology and pathology of blood and its use as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool. It includes the study of Bio-organic Chemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Human Physiology, Microbiology and Virology, Basic Immunology, Enzymology, etc. it also includes the study of structure and function of cellular components such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids and other bio-molecules involved in biological processes such as growth, metabolism, reproduction, heredity, etc. as well as the effect of the environment on living organisms. It will provide knowledge of the basic science and analytical techniques relating to Hematology & biochemistry and gain an up-to-date understanding of the application of Hematology & Biochemistry in bioscience / pharmaceutical research, as well as in diagnostic and therapeutic medicine.

Eligibility:
HS/(10+2) Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects with minimum 45 % marks in aggregate ( 5% relaxation for Reserved Categories).
