7-Days Faculty Development Programme on “Universal Human Values” Organised by Business Administration
Prof. Mukulesh Baruah on the Valedictory session of 7-Days Faculty Development Programme
Baridua, 9th Mile, Meghalaya, 6th Jan 2020: The Department of Business Administration, University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya in association of IQAC, has conducted 7-Days Faculty Development Programme on “Universal Human Values” from 6th January to 12th January, 2020 sponsored by AICTE, New Delhi.
The programme was inaugurated at 9:30 am on 6th January, 2020 by Prof. Mridul Hazarika, honorable Vice chancellor USTM. The inauguration programme was graced by Prof. P. K. Goswami & Prof. RK Sharma, Adviser USTM; and some other higher officials from the University. Resource person for this FDP was Dr Dilip Debnath & more than 100 faculties from various colleges & Univarsities have attended the programme.
The resource person Dr Dilip Debnath has explained that Universal human values play an important role in the life of human at various stages including education and career. He also added that Human values are most important in life—so important that people are and should be ready to sacrifice almost anything to live with their values. Honesty, integrity, love, and happiness are some of the end values or destination values that human beings seek to attain, practise and live with.
The programme was ended on 12th January, 2020. Valedictory session was held at 4:30 pm on 12th January’20. Honourable Chancellor of University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya Mr. M. Hoque along with Prof. Mukulesh Baruah, Director, Assam Institute of Management, Guwahati graced the occasion. AICTE issued certificates only to those participants who had very good attendance, and who completed and submitted their self-evaluation and feedback forms.
